Mixed Blood is a horror film project consisting of 8 episodes set in eight Italian cities and directed by 8 directors. From Turin to Genoa, from Milan to Leghorn, through Ravenna and the Treviso countryside to reach Rome and end in Sicily. Each story deals with immigration, starring 8 different ethnic communities. The project was conceived mainly as an instrument to foster integration and exchange and give a new meaning to the words "us" and "them". Immigration is therefore the central idea of these stories: it will be the starting point of a guided tour to the discovery of cultural diversity, narrated by each director with his/her own personal style and thus making such differences the strong point of this project.
